The 14th conference on "Harmonisation within Atmospheric Dispersion Modelling for Regulatory Purposes" took place in the island of Kos, Greece, October 2-6, 2011.

The local organizers of the conference maintain the conference web site at www.harmo.org/harmo14.

Proceedings and PowerPoint presentations

Each paper as well as PowerPoint presentations from the participants are available on-line.

The papers are extended abstracts with a typical length of 5 pages.

Some of the papers will be published in a full-length version in a special issue of the International Journal of Environment and Pollution

Useful resources for modellers

In a presentation at the conference (the chairman of the Harmonisation initiative, Helge Olesen, gave various practical advice on resources, which modellers can benefit from in their daily work. These resources include Google Scholar, Wikipedia, the Atmospheric Dispersion Wiki, LinkedIn, YouTube. See the paper: Improving modelling culture: Obstacles and opportunities (pdf, 150 kB).
