The 12th conference on "Harmonisation within Atmospheric Dispersion Modelling for Regulatory Purposes" took place in Cavtat, Croatia, October 6-9, 2008.

The local organizers of the conference maintain the conference web site at www.harmo.org/harmo12.

Proceedings and PowerPoint presentations

Each paper as well as PowerPoint presentations from the participants are available on-line.

The papers are extended abstracts with a typical length of 5 pages.

Some of the papers have been published in a full-length version in a special issue of the International Journal of Environment and Pollution. IJEP Volume 47 No. 1-4 (2011).

FAIRMODE kick-off meeting

Immediately following the conference - on October 10 - a kickoff meeting of the new FAIRMODE network took place. FAIRMODE is a modellers' network in support of the new EU Air Quality Directive. It is a joint initiative of the European Environment Agency (EEA) and European Commissionís Joint Research Centre (JRC).

It gives access to the minutes from the kick-off meeting.
